Coventry by Bilou020285 Coventry by Bilou020285
A quick silhouette of Sherlock Holmes (B. Cumberbatch) in front of his chimney with his violin. From A Scandal in Belgravia, "Coventry scene".

I love the delicate suggestion of Sherlock's figure! While I do love crazy detailed art, I've always had a thing for the minimal, especially since I find it poignant.

Yes, I see exactly what you mean. I do love detailled works too, but sometime, I'm just standing in front of a picture and the only beautiful and poignant thing is the light. So I took my tablet and draw just the light. This picture was a perfect summarize of Holmes, no need for more... Thanks for commenting ! :blowkiss:

Merci beaucoup Manon !

Amazing thing the human mind. I look upon your beautiful piece, and though most of it lies in the shadows, my mind fills in the rest. You did a wonderful job on this. I look forward to seeing what you do next. :-)

Thank you ! No I draw with Corel Painter 12. I used the color pencil on a linen canvas, it gives a great texture. I used Photoshop only to correct the colors.
